We’re excited to announce a major update to Trnd’s platform that will enhance the way brands and creators communicate.

Our new In-App Messaging feature provides a streamlined way for brands to connect directly with creators—all within the Trnd platform.

This feature, developed in response to user feedback is designed to save time, improve engagement, and foster stronger, more effective collaborations between brands and creators.

Here’s everything you need to know about how the new In-App Messaging feature works:


Key Features of In-App Messaging

1. Streamlined Communication

  • Brands can now message creators directly within the platform, eliminating the need for third-party communication tools like email or social media DMs. This feature helps keep all brand-creator interactions in one place, making it easier to track and manage conversations.

2. New Message Notifications

  • For Brands: Whenever you receive a new message from a creator, it will be clearly marked as unread, allowing you to quickly respond. We also send email summaries of un-replied messages so you can stay on top of important conversations.

  • For Creators: Creators will receive push notifications whenever they get a new message from a brand they are partnered with, ensuring timely responses.

3. Message Prioritization

  • For Brands: You’ll get clear visual indicators of unread messages. This will allow you to prioritize responses based on urgency, so no message falls through the cracks.

  • For Creators: You will also receive easy-to-see updates about new messages, helping you stay engaged with brands efficiently.

4. Chat History and File Sharing

  • Both brands and creators can view the full chat history, making it easy to reference past conversations and avoid repeating information.

Once the brand-creator relationship ends, the chat thread will remain visible to both the brand and the creator, so you can still review past conversations. However, you will no longer be able to send messages.

If you need to reconnect with a creator, please initiate a new partnership or reach out through the appropriate channels.

  • You can exchange files—such as contracts, product images or marketing assets—within the chat, ensuring that all essential materials are shared directly with the relevant parties.

5. Unified Inbox for Brands

  • As a brand, you will have a unified inbox for all your team members to access and manage messages from creators. This will help you keep communication centralized and avoid missed messages.


Starting a Chat

For Brand Users:

  • You can start a chat only with creators you are currently partnered with, ensuring that all conversations are relevant to your current campaigns or partnerships.

For Creators:

  • Creators can initiate chats with any brand they are partnered with, making it easier to reach out with questions, feedback, or updates.


One-to-Many Communication

We understand that brands often need to send updates to multiple creators at once. This feature will allow you to:

  • Send messages to multiple creators simultaneously to update them on key initiatives or campaigns.

  • Choose which creators to send the message to, or send it to all creators in your partnership roster.


Pricing and Availability

The In-App Messaging feature will be available to all users, regardless of your subscription tier (Launch, Grow, or Scale). There is no additional paywall for access to messaging, as this feature is integral to the platform’s core functionality.

To start using the new in-app messaging feature:

  1. Log into your Trnd account.

  2. Navigate to the Messages section in the main dashboard.

  3. Start chatting with your creators or brands.
